Harvey: I Did It Myway

An auto loving condo president
With a slight obsessive tilt
Steadfast to his marriage vows
With sleepless protective nights

He overcomes life’s setbacks
With a humor all his own
An independent thinker
And a non judgmental soul

With a heart generous to a fault
He became the dad to them all
And a family of two
With his loving glue
Merged to became just one

After years toiling under the lights
He steps out
And with his bewitching, gastronomically brilliant wife
A new reality emerges
Doted with canasta, family and friends galore
They work together to overcome all those silly turns of events

And he, like Sinatra, can say
there were times,
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I face it all and I stand tall
And still do it my way
